building hope spanish language program

Our Spanish speaking residents in Summit County account from anywhere between 15%-30% of our total population depending upon the season. This part of our community is significantly underserved especially when it comes to mental health resources. Our Spanish Language Program is dedicated to supporting our Spanish speakers when it comes to mental health education, supporting community connections, decreasing isolation, reducing stigma around mental health and providing greater access to services.

  • Building Hope Spanish Language Program offers large community events approximately every other month designed specifically by our Spanish speakers for our Spanish speakers.
  • Building Hope is always looking for native Spanish speakers in Summit County to join this program area and provide input, guidance and direction for this program area. Are you a native Spanish speaker and interested in improving the mental health of Summit County's Spanish speaking population? Email Betsy for more information (betsyc@summitfirc.org)
