You’ve probably heard something about Psychodelic Assisted Psychotherapy. Some people are calling this time in the mental health industry the new “psychodelic revolution” as more research using medicines to treat mental health issues becomes mainstream. This is great news for some who see the possibility of more accessibility.. But\, this exposure has also created some myths and misconceptions.  \n“For a long time psychedelics have been sort of frowned upon\,” says Amy Morin\, psychotherapist and editor-in-chief at VeryWell Mind. “We thought that they were more recreational drugs\, but with a closer look\, we’ve seen they can actually be really good treatments for things like depression\, anxiety\, even substance abuse issues.” \nThere is data to be very excited about psychedelics could mean a paradigm shift within mental health treatment for those who haven’t been helped by existing treatments. On the other hand\, it’s never going to be a treatment that helps everybody. Nothing is. \nNote: This is an informational session only. Following a short orientation we will head out on the water for a relaxing beautiful and fun paddle. Everyone will have their own paddleboard. \nAdvance registration is required with a waiver signed by an adult/legal guardian.  Before proceeding with registration\, please complete the BOEC/Move United Release of Risk and Liability \nLook for the big BOEC flag!  \nWhat to bring: \n•	Comfortable and sporty clothes \n•	Raincoat \n•	Sunblock \n•	Personal water bottle \n•	Snacks \n•	Your own hand sanitizer (we will provide it too but we would love if you had your own bottle) \n•	Shade hat and sunglasses \nThis event is limited to 12  participants. DESCRIPTION:The HYPE: BOEC Rock Climbing at Swan Mountain for Ages 12-18 / Escalada de la montaña rocosa de el cisne (Swan)\n\n\n(En Español abajo) \nAfter instruction from BOEC staff you will spend the day Rock Climbing and enjoying the views of Lake Dillon. This area provides climbing opportunities for both first time climbers wanting to gain confidence and basic skills up to more experienced climbers looking to step up their outside climbing skills. \nLOCATION: Parking lot off Swan Mountain Road\, turn at the intersection for access to Prospector Campground. The parking lot is 3.1 miles from the Summit County High school. To access climbing area\, we will hike in about 1/3 mile. \nAdvance registration is required with a waiver signed by an adult/legal guardian.  Before proceeding with registration\, please complete the BOEC/Move United Release of Risk and Liability \nWhat to bring:• Long pants and closed toe shoes required• Warm sweatshirt or fleece as it is cool in the shade at 10\,000ft.• Raincoat• Sunblock• Personal water bottle and snacks \nThis event is limited to 12  participants.
