Kellyn Ender, LPC<\/h2>\n

Kellyn has been working and living in Summit County since 2012 after spending the previous three years as a front range weekend warrior. Born in Buffalo, NY and growing up in Michigan, Kellyn has a love of sports, the outdoors, and laughing! Summit County provides the best of all these worlds to her, where she can be found on the trails, biking, running, hiking, skiing, or endlessly cheering for the Buffalo Bills. She has a background in mental health and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Prior to joining Building Hope, Kellyn worked in numerous roles and organizations within the community, including Youth and Family Services\/Public Health, Summit Community Care Clinic, and her own private practice counseling service. Kellyn has developed great relationships in the community and truly values the work and collaboration that is accomplished among individuals and organizations for our residents and visitors. She has expertise in the field of mental health, community organization, program development, and the nonprofit sector.<\/p>\n

Nicole Maynard<\/h2>\n

Nicole Maynard joined Building Hope in November 2019. A Colorado native, Nicole was raised on the front range before making a home in Summit County. Nicole found Building Hope as a resource to support her own mental health as well as a way to connect with community members.\u00a0Nicole\u2019s passion is spreading the word about Building Hope and helping others support Building Hope in meaningful ways. Nicole is a graduate of Colorado University of Colorado Springs with a Bachelor\u2019s of Science in Business Administration. Nicole also holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior. Nicole manages the business structure of Building Hope including supports for people, processes, and funding.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Kristen Griffin joined Building Hope\u2019s team in the summer of 2023. She has been working in the behavioral health field since 2016 and holds a master\u2019s degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Prior to joining Building Hope, Kristen worked as a clinical social worker and treated a variety of mental health conditions with a specialization in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and other anxiety disorders.\u00a0 Kristen is thrilled to be a part of Building Hope\u2019s team as the Mental Health Program Manager. She is very passionate about serving Summit County and improving her community’s behavioral health system.\u00a0 In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending as much time in the mountains as possible, usually trail running, backpacking, or climbing. Kristen also enjoys giving back to her community as a volunteer rescuer with the Summit County Rescue Group.<\/p>\n

Wendy Cant\u00fa is from Chihuahua, Mexico, and arrived in Summit County in 2019 looking for new adventures and opportunities. She loves Summit County for its diverse cultures and outdoor activities. In addition, She loves the opportunities offered to everyone in the community.<\/p>\n

Wendy has a degree in Education and has experience working with children from preschool to elementary school. Still, she also likes helping the community with support and connecting them with resources.
Wendy is Building Hope’s Bilingual Program Coordinator and serves members of our Spanish-speaking community.<\/p>\n

Nadia\u2019s journey brought her from the plains of Kansas to the majestic peaks of Summit County in 2013, following her graduation with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Organizational and Interpersonal Communication. A spirited advocate for mental health, sustainability, live music, and dancing, she thrives on connecting with people and her community. Nadia shares her life with her husband, Nick, their vibrant daughter, Isla, and two cherished dogs, Ruby and Simon.<\/p>\n

Over the years, she has poured her passion and expertise into impactful roles at organizations like Breckenridge Grand Vacations, the Family & Intercultural Resource Center, and Breck Create. With a wealth of community knowledge and mental health resources, Nadia is excited to bring her heart and purpose to Building Hope, where she aspires to foster deep connections and make a meaningful difference.<\/p>\n

Dylan Stein<\/h2>\n

Dylan joined Building Hope in February 2023. He grew up in Seattle and lived in the Pacific Northwest most of his life, graduating from the University of Oregon in 2018 with a bachelor\u2019s degree in advertising. Throughout his childhood, his dad would regale him with stories of his time living in Aspen in the late 70s. These stories, coupled with his dream of living in the mountains, inspired Dylan to pack up and move to Summit County in October 2021.<\/p>\n

Dylan spends the winters skiing both in-bounds and in the backcountry. In the summer, he enjoys mountain biking and backpacking. He loves road trips and aspires to one day drive from Colorado to the Arctic Circle.<\/p>\n

At Building Hope, Dylan works on the Care Team to assist community members with gaining access to mental healthcare and also manages several of our Provider Support programs. He is passionate about tearing down the stigma around mental health. Dylan believes that creating safe spaces where honest conversations can be had is key to normalizing mental healthcare.<\/p>\n

Jennifer Qui\u00f1ones Gibson<\/h2>\n

Jennifer fell in love with Summit County during her vacations with her family beginning in 2007. She finally became a full-time resident in 2020. She enjoys many of the county’s outdoor activities and the community connections.<\/p>\n

Jennifer’s education is in psychology and social work. She has experience in cognitive and behavioral research, but her passion is serving her community, which she has done extensively through her volunteer work with middle- and high-school-aged youth and their families.<\/p>\n

Jennifer is a native of Puerto Rico and serves as Building Hope’s Mental Health Training Coordinator. She serves our community’s English- and Spanish-speaking members by providing education about suicide prevention and mental health. She facilitates training in English and Spanish for individuals interested in volunteering with Building Hope.<\/p>\n

Courtney Kenady discovered Summit County during a road trip in 1988, and in her heart, she knew she would live in this beautiful place one day. That time came in 1992 when she landed in Breckenridge after leaving a broadcast journalism career in California. Courtney loves being outdoors more than just about anything else. Summit County provides a perfect backdrop for all her favorite outdoor activities: running, mountain biking, hiking, boating, snowboarding, and skiing. For nearly 20 years, Courtney\u2019s talents and expertise have been focused on real estate sales, digital marketing, and project management roles.<\/p>\n

Courtney joined the Building Hope Social Media and Marketing team in June 2020 and is delighted to be part of an organization that is committed to the betterment and mental wellness of our community. Courtney is passionate about communication that educates, empowers, and enlightens. She enjoys creating and sharing content that is engaging and informative to many different audiences.<\/p>\n

Kenady joined Building Hope in September 2021 after graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelor\u2019s in Public Administration and Project Management. She has been in marketing since July 2020 with Climbbetty Digital Marketing and continues to help clients grow, Building Hope being one of them.<\/p>\n

Kenady also has her Real Estate license in Nevada, but continues to pursue her love for digital marketing which enables flexibility for her worldwide travels and desire to not be stuck behind a desk.<\/p>\n

Kenady was born and raised in Breckenridge, CO, but now lives in Reno, NV, with her partner, Brendon, and their two dogs.\u00a0 Kenady loves to travel, read, cook, spend time with her family and build a career(s) that allow her to spend her days as she wishes.<\/p>\n

Carol Craig<\/h2>\n

Carol has lived in Summit County since 1994 when she started working as the Town of Breckenridge Event Director and Public Information Officer. After leaving the Town of Breckenridge in 2002, Carol began working in a variety of roles within and outside of the Summit community in marketing as well as non-profit and corporate events. Carol brings a breadth of experience not only through local organizations and business relationships, but also a unique perspective gleaned from working with large corporations. Carol worked to create The HYPE youth connection program at Building Hope, and she continues to work on other community projects for the organization. Carol is hopeful that just one small event connection can change the trajectory of someone\u2019s mental and emotional health.<\/p>\n

Susie grew up in Colorado Springs and eventually realized she felt her best living above 9,000 feet in elevation. She has called Summit County home for more than 30 years, building a life deeply rooted in the mountains and the community that surrounds them. For 26 of those years, she worked as a ski patroller on the Breckenridge Ski Patrol before turning her energy toward the nonprofit world, motivated by a desire to support the community she has long called home.<\/p>\n

Like many Summit County residents, Susie loves spending time outdoors and can often be found skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or running on local trails. While she deeply values time in the mountains, she believes that a thriving community depends on more than outdoor adventure. For Susie, strong connections, intellectual curiosity, sharing of resources and opportunities for creativity are just as important to a healthy and meaningful life.<\/p>\n

Jen joined the Building Hope team in August 2025, bringing experience in nonprofit development and marketing. Born and raised a Jersey girl, she has long been drawn to the mountains. Jen earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont before completing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduation, her love of the outdoors brought her to Colorado, where she worked as a physical therapist in Denver for more than a decade, helping patients recover from injury and navigate challenges. She later earned an Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through her professional and personal experiences, Jen has witnessed the profound impact that strong, connected communities can have on individual well-being. She is passionate about fostering relationships and building partnerships that strengthen and sustain strong communities. At Building Hope, her work focuses on cultivating these connections and generating resources to advance program development.\u00a0 Outside of work, Jen enjoys exploring Summit County\u2019s trails and taking in the natural beauty of the mountains she has always sought.<\/span><\/p>\n
