    Our next\u00a0<\/span>Provider Mixer<\/span><\/u><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>is coming up on\u00a0<\/span>Wednesday, March 25th<\/span>. It will take place at High Side Brewing in Frisco, from 6pm-8:30pm. Registration is live and as usual, the event is free to mental health professionals:\u00a0https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/4th-mental-health-provider-mixer-tickets-99585059594<\/a><\/p>\n

    This will be an excellent opportunity to network and collaborate with fellow providers. Dinner will be provided and each attendee will get one drink ticket. Presentations will cover several updates on: TheraThink insurance support initiative, capacity building work with WICHE, and scholarship program. We will also have a service spotlight and might squeeze in some professional development work. We hope to see you there!<\/div>\n

    Local Mobile Crisis Response training:<\/b><\/u><\/div>\n

    <\/div>\n
    Summit County Sheriff\u2019s Office SMART (Mobile Crisis Response) Team has developed a training for our public safety and community partners that will include lessons learned from their soft-launch period of 90 days. This training will cover the components of the continuum of care from crisis response through stabilization and safe return to the community, and will describe support for transitions to each stage for individuals experiencing a behavioral health emergency.<\/p>\n

    Behavioral Health Needs Assessment:<\/b><\/u><\/div>\n
    The Office of Behavioral Health is reviewing behavioral health needs across the state for individuals of all ages and insurance status. The goals of this assessment are to identify gaps in existing services, understand health disparities and regional needs, and to identify resources needed to make system-level change. This will help inform OBH\u2019s 5-Year Strategic Plan.     Colorado Crisis Services, which is staffed 24\/7 by both peers and crisis clinicians, is capable of dispatching our new Mobile Crisis response (S.M.A.R.T) team if necessary. Here’s an example of what you can say: “If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call Colorado Crisis Services at 844-493-8255, or text ‘TALK’ to 38255, to speak to a peer or a crisis clinician.”<\/div>\n
