Dear Summit County Mental Health Providers,<\/div>\n

It is with a heavy heart that Summit County faces its second death this month. The Summit School District announced the tragic passing of Christopher Darst, a 9th grader. SSD has allocated emergency funding to our Scholarship Program for students, parents and staff to grieve and process this devastating loss.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
If you are a Building Hope scholarship network provider, and you are available to support students, families, school district staff in crisis currently, please respond and let me know so that we can funnel referrals to you.<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In conjunction with SSD, Building Hope has created an expedited scholarship process to support grieving during this terrible time. Each scholarship will still be valid for 12 sessions, and voucher numbers will start with “SSD” and a three digit number.\u00a0<\/span>Billing will remain exactly the same:<\/u>\u00a0<\/span>please bill us at the end of each month for the standard scholarship rates.<\/div>\n

Building Hope will continue to provide\u00a0<\/span>free LIVE grief support\u00a0<\/span><\/b>out of our office. A team of trained grief specialists will be available in person and by phone 11-5 at the Building Hope office. We are here to serve the community during this very difficult and distressing time. A confidential, safe space will be provided for anyone in the community to process their feelings.<\/p>\n

Last Reflective Supervision Opportunity with Jane West:<\/b><\/div>\n

“How Are You Holding Up? Are you interested in an Online Reflective Group for front line workers in the Mountains? This two-session reflective supervision group is meant for all kinds of front line workers who need to take time out to examine their own reactions and emotions that have been building since the COVID-19 arrived in our state. Participants will receive perspectives and support from peers as well tools from the group facilitator that will help sustain compassion and focus during these tough times, and help to avoid burnout.”<\/div>\n
