Please mark your calendars for an exciting free training on\u00a0Ketamine Therapies to Treat Depression<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>coming up on Wednesday March 10th, 12-1pm.<\/div>\n

This presentation will discuss the use of Ketamine for the treatment of depression. We will discuss the history of Ketamine\u2019s use for depression as well as information regarding the drug\u2019s mechanism of action and research showing its effectiveness. Limitations and safety considerations will also be covered.<\/div>\n

Training: Clinical Work with the Suicide Bereaved<\/b>\u00a0on Monday, 3\/15\/21, 11am-3pm<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Clinical Work with The Suicide Bereaved is a half day virtual training developed through the American Association of Suicidology to teach clinical knowledge and skills in working with suicide loss survivors. Unique aspects of the loss, pertinent grief theories, cultural implications, and clinical techniques will be covered. This training is intended for mental health clinicians as well as clergy and support group leaders or people who want to learn more about clinical aspects of bereavement after suicide. CEUs are offered.<\/div>\n

New Support Group: Mindfulness in Nature Series<\/b>\u00a0starting March 7th<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A free group hosted by Kristen Greenwald and sponsored by Building Hope for those who are looking to meet new people, decrease isolation, and learn some new\u00a0mindfulness<\/span>\u00a0skills to bolster resilience during this hard year.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
All people ages 12+ are eligible to join, although if parents would like to do this with their children they are encouraged to bring children who are excited to be active participants. Group size will be capped at 8 to enable 6ft of distance between group members when outdoors.<\/p>\n
<\/div>\n
When:<\/b>\u00a0Every other Sunday beginning March 7th, ending May 23rd<\/div>\n
Time:<\/b>\u00a011am-12:30pm<\/div>\n
Where:\u00a0<\/b>outdoors, Summit County<\/div>\n

Right Start for Colorado Community of Practice and the Irving Harris Expansion Community Fellowship are each excited to offer full scholarships for intensive and comprehensive training in infant and early childhood mental health. You are invited to apply to one or both opportunities. Applicants from across the state are encouraged to apply.<\/div>\n
