The APA accredited Colorado Psychology Internship Consortium (CO-PIC) is seeking to add two new sites to the consortium by the end of 2021. The aim of CO-PIC is to prepare and retain psychologists to provide high quality, culturally competent behavioral health care for Coloradans of all ages. Currently, CO-PIC comprises three member sites across the state of CO: STRIDE Community Health Center (Denver Metro area); Bright Future Foundation (Avon, CO); and Eagle Valley Behavioral Health (Avon, CO). While the three training sites have different mission statements, each emphasizes the provision of quality care to populations in need. Additionally, all three member agencies serve rural and\/or traditionally underserved populations and as such, the consortium seeks to add sites that serve these unique populations. CO-PIC\u2019s internship program helps further the mission of each of its member agencies by allowing each agency to provide no-cost\/low-cost behavioral health services to the communities they serve. CO-PIC and all its member agencies value diversity and believe diversity enhances the training experience and training environment.<\/span><\/p>\n
