Dear Summit County Mental Health Providers,<\/span><\/p>\n

You are invited to a very special and unique event.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are very excited to announce that we are hosting\u00a0<\/span>Serena-Faith Masterson<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to speak to our mental health provider community about her journey of integrating over 300 multiple personalities. This event will be facilitated and moderated by Dr. Jeff Mahler.<\/p>\n

Topic:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>UNDERSTANDING TRAUMA, DISSOCIATION & RECOVERY FROM THE INSIDE OUT<\/div>\n
Date:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Wednesday, Sept 22nd from 6-8pm<\/div>\n
Location:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Silverthorne Pavilion<\/a><\/div>\n
Description:\u00a0<\/b>Hear her inspirational story of recovery from ritualized early trauma and her journey with professionals to integrate. Serena will be able to relate her experience recovering from trauma and the aspects of her care that were fundamental in that recovery. Providers will hear a first hand account of her response to trauma, dissociation and pitfalls as she worked on integrating these different personalities. With knowledge of her experience, providers can discuss their current approach to treating traumatized individuals and common elements that are important in the healing process. Serena has written a book on her experiences. The book:\u00a0<\/span>I Am Serena<\/u>, will be available for purchase to the participants.<\/span><\/div>\n

We will include some time for networking and book signing after the event.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
