They combine outdoor adventure guiding services with Recovery\/ Life coaching enabling individuals or groups to navigate the external and internal wilderness. \u00a0 We operate as a 100% a la carte wilderness outpatient service.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Attached are the overviews of their wonderful services!<\/p>\n \n ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~<\/p>\n Second Wind Fund<\/strong><\/p>\n Building Hope is continuing to develop our partnership with\u00a0<\/span>thesecondwindfund.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>in order to provide a longer term scholarship opportunity for high acuity children and adolescents. 2nd Wind Fund offers 12 sessions with a possible extension of 8 for a total of 20 sessions per child\u00a0@ $90 per session.\u00a0If that can be strung together with our own scholarship, and iMatter, that’s a significant opportunity for our kiddos!<\/p>\n Please reach out to\u00a0<\/span>Shelby Creech<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to get enrolled in 2nd Wind Fund’s scholarship network. Attached is a one-pager for more information.<\/p>\n \n iMatter also pays $130 per session, and those 6 sessions can be a great way for your client to access additional care!<\/p>\n \n ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~<\/p>\n Family First Independent Assessments with CO4KIDS<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n RMHP is expanding its network of licensed clinicians to conduct\u00a0Independent<\/span>\u00a0Assessments<\/span>\u00a0for children and youth being considered for Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTP).\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Under Family First (FFPSA), if a county (DHS) or DYS thinks a youth would meet criteria to receive QRTP level of care, they would have to request that an\u00a0Independent<\/span>\u00a0Assessment<\/span>\u00a0be conducted through their ASO.\u00a0Assessments<\/span>\u00a0are conducted by a licensed mental health professional who contracts with RMHP and can have no prior relationship with the youth, county, or QRTP facility.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n These clinicians are called Qualified Individuals (QIs). The QI has approximately 8 business days to complete a comprehensive psych-social\u00a0assessment<\/span>\u00a0(25 if it is a DYS request). To date, nearly all\u00a0assessments<\/span>\u00a0are conducted virtually, but we would like to build up our network of local assessors to be able to offer both in-person\/virtual options to families.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The clinicians would be reimbursed at the rate of $1250 per\u00a0assessment<\/span>\u00a0and would be able to accept referrals from any county in RMHP\u2019s region as long as they do not have a conflict of interest. QI\u2019s have reported that this is a nice way to round out their practice and be able to offer therapy as well as conduct\u00a0assessments<\/span>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Here is\u00a0<\/span>more information<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>on the program, and please reach out to\u00a0<\/span>Krista<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to apply. Attached is more information as well.<\/p>\n \n ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~<\/p>\n Wild Youth Passages starting a new cohort \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n WYP is an adventure-based therapy group for teens ages 13-18 looking to improve their mental health and build resiliency through activities such as rock climbing, ropes courses, hiking,\u00a0 mountain biking, camping, and hut trips.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n They are starting a new teen cohort and are looking for participants. Please find a flyer attached and contact\u00a0<\/span>Melissa Malter<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>for more information.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~<\/p>\n Mindfulness Peer Recovery Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n Recovery Resources is offering a Mindfulness Holistic Coaching Program for individuals\u00a0in recovery and for those in substance use helping professions. These cohort-based groups will be offered by Kelsey Brasseur in an 8-week format. An offering is also available to those who work directly with substance use clients, so they can learn mindfulness practices for self-care\u00a0and client\u00a0support. Please reach out to\u00a0<\/span>Kelsey<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>for more information.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~<\/p>\n BIPOC Toolkit<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mental Health America has released an amazing resource (as they do every year in July during BIPOC mental health awareness month) to help continue to expand access to mental health by highlighting diverse voices and sharing culture-specific information for BIPOC communities. This is part of their public education campaign dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).<\/p>\n \n You can access the 2022 BIPOC toolkit (along with previous years’ toolkits)\u00a0<\/span>here<\/a><\/strong>. It is truly a deep and wonderful resource to develop further cultural competency and decolonize your mental health practice.<\/p>\n \n ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~<\/p>\n Colorado\u2019s Behavioral Health Administration is here!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n July 1st marked the launch of the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), which is designed to be the single entity responsible for driving coordination and collaboration across state agencies to address behavioral health needs. The Behavioral Health Administration will be housed under the Colorado Department of Human Services and led by the Behavioral Health Commissioner, Dr. Morgan Medlock, who will report directly to the Governor.
