In wake of the police involved shooting last weekend, Building Hope has been helping create community sharing and processing spaces for both teens and the general community.<\/div>\n

First, a\u00a0<\/span>teen centric gathering<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>is taking place\u00a0<\/span>this Thursday<\/i>,\u00a0<\/span>7\/20,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>from\u00a0<\/span>4-8pm<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>at\u00a0<\/span>The Drop<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>and will include a variety of activities with several local therapists holding space and providing support. Light food and refreshments will be provided. (Please find attached both Eng\/Spanish language flyers and share widely.)<\/div>\n

We are holding a\u00a0<\/span>larger community wide gathering<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>next Wednesday,\u00a0<\/span>7\/26<\/b>, at the Community and\u00a0<\/span>Senior Center<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>from\u00a0<\/span>5:30-8:30pm<\/b>. This will\u00a0include an open dialogue between community members and support agencies. We will also have an open sharing space as part of this event. Therapists will be present to provide support, and resource connection will be taking place simultaneously. There will be speakers from partner organizations such as Rocky Mountain Health Plans, the 988 hotline, and Vail Health Behavioral Health. Dinner and beverages will be provided.
