Community Wellness Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time<\/p>\n

Compensation: $27-$30\/hour, depending on experience.<\/p>\n

The Community Wellness Coordinator is\u00a0responsible for developing a system for ensuring individuals living or working in Summit County receive suicide prevention education, resources, and materials to help reduce the suicide rate based on the six pillars of suicide prevention: Connectedness, Economic Stability & Support, Improving Access to Care, Education & Awareness, Lethal means Safety and Postvention.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key community partners in suicide prevention. This position facilitates meetings for the Suicide Prevention Action Team (SPAT), a group of community partners.<\/p>\n

The Community Wellness Coordinator collaborates with the Coroner\u2019s Office and relevant community partners in outreach efforts related to traumatic losses, including those related to suicide, to coordinate connections to resources.<\/p>\n

Data reporting and analysis along with strategic planning for stigma reduction marketing campaigns are also required.<\/p>\n

This position may involve limited local travel to attend workshops and conferences as appropriate to broaden knowledge of current practices and strategies.<\/p>\n

This position also plans and attends quarterly Community Wellness events, such as Building Hope\u2019s Walk with Hope, with the support of Event planning staff.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates include those living in Summit County who are comfortable with public speaking to deliver evidence-based training classes in the Summit County area; training provided.<\/p>\n

Working knowledge of the behavioral health components\/findings in the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA)\u00a0\u00a0and Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is preferred along with lived experience of suicide loss and mental health recovery.<\/p>\n

Potential expansion to full-time employment is possible for a candidate qualified to lead Building Hope Community Outreach Efforts and an expanded role in marketing.<\/p>\n

Provider accounts will automatically become inactive if your documents are not up to date. BHA Rule Stakeholder Feedback Session<\/strong><\/p>\n

The BHA will be in Frisco at the Summit County Community & Senior Center (83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco) for a Rule Stakeholder Feedback Session on Monday, December 2nd from 10-11:30 am<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since Mid-September, BHA has hosted over ten sessions<\/a>\u00a0for behavioral health providers and other interested community members to provide feedback on rules designed to transform and improve the way people in Colorado receive behavioral health care. Thanks to robust engagement from communities across the state, the agency will now conduct additional sessions to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to make their voices heard.<\/p>\n

These rules will help set the expectations for providers and recipients of behavioral health services, and in addition, increase access to, and the quality of, safety net services across the behavioral health continuums in our state. The Behavioral Health Safety Net is a collection of critical behavioral health services that all people in Colorado, including our most vulnerable and high-needs populations, can access where they live, when they need them.<\/p>\n

There are three \u201ccategories\u201d of rules that support the expansion of the behavioral health safety net:\u00a0System Rules, Administrative Rules, and Provider Rules<\/a>. BHA invites community members, including health care providers, to preview the rule drafts and join one of the scheduled meetings to share their feedback.<\/p>\n

Charlie Health currently has immediate availability to accept patients into their virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).<\/p>\n
