But for many of us, it also brings stress, loneliness, financial pressure, or the resurfacing of difficult emotions. Sleeping is not only resting, it is also repairing the body. While attaining the recommended 8 hours of sleep every night is unrealistic for many, prioritizing an earlier bedtime will improve mental cognition, physical health, and emotional stability. During this time, it is imperative to mentally and physically check in on yourself! Find something you love! Self-care doesn\u2019t have to be exercise, meditation, or a therapy session. Self-care means anything that brings you peace and joy. Some forms of self-care that I love are cleaning, blasting my favorite music, going for a drive, indulging in a favorite food, or binge-watching a good show!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Self-care looks different for everyone. While these are absolute non-negotiables to a successful holiday season, it is important to find balance. Bundle up and head outside for a walk to break up the day. Whether you walk for 5 minutes or an hour, anything is beneficial. Consistency over perfection will help live a balanced and full lifestyle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eat some nutrient dense foods! Include fresh food daily and try to cook at home!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incorporate a fun NA beverage! You don\u2019t have to not booze, just booze less!
