If you are reading this, you are probably considering counseling, a massive step on the path towards becoming a healthier, more authentic, more connected version of yourself. You have identified that something in your life could be different, and that different might feel better, and you are interested in addressing the obstacles between your current experience and the changes you would like to see. The process of overcoming these challenges may seem difficult, even daunting, but the great news is that you don’t have to face this journey alone.

A world traveler and graduate of both Colorado College and The Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago, I have had the privilege of meeting and learning from people from all walks of life. Over the last five years, I have worked as a counselor with preschoolers, children, teens, adults, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, couples, and families. Together, we have met a wide range of goals in many different areas including work; school; interpersonal relationships; self-expression; substance abuse cessation; stress reduction; improved self-esteem; healing from trauma, anxiety, and depression; life transitions; coping with grief and loss; and improved emotional health and functioning.

Through my private practice, Mindfulness Over Matter LLC, I strive to be a compassionate, innovative, grounded source of support for you, contributing my clinical fervor, expertise, skills, and reflective capacity to the best cause of all—your healing and growth! I work primarily with adults and teens, though I do have a few spots on my caseload for couples and families too. My approach is flexible, holistic, nonjudgmental, and client-focused. We target your goals and move at your speed. Trained in EMDR, DBT, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, I am ready to dive right in. Please reach out to me by email or phone if you think you are too. I would be delighted to connect and see if we are a fit.
