I am a registered Synergetic Play Therapist who approaches mental health treatment from a nuero-biological perspective. I support my clients in a holistic manner to integrate their emotional experiences from the physical to the cognitive and inter-personal levels. I work with a wide range of specialty interventions for trauma, emotional dysregulation, medical and developmental disabilities, and behavioral and relationship problems utilizing play therapy, animal assisted therapy (dog, Nugget), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), body movement, mindfulness and attachment-based therapies to heal the individual and family system. I work with individuals from early childhood through adolescence, parents and families.

I have been working within the Summit School District through the School Based Health Centers for 5 years as a bilingual play therapist and supervisor. Additionally, I have worked in private practice and a variety of other child therapy centers since 2006. I believe passionately in our human right to access quality mental health care regardless of age, race, spoken language, immigration status or financial situation. It has been my honor and joy to be a part of increasing mental health services to our youth and families of Summit County.
