I am a licensed social worker whose passion is to empower change by helping people overcome challenges and achieve a greater purpose in their personal development. I work with all ages to explore issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship/marriage conflicts, family issues, trauma, substance use, gender identity, non-traditional families, LGBTQIA+, persistent mental health disorders, and more.

At Grit Therapy I see individual children and adults as well as couples. As a therapist, I foster an atmosphere that is safe, culturally competent, empathic, challenging, and open. My therapeutic style is eclectic. I utilize a variety of approaches including client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, family/crisis interventions, harm reduction, behavior modification, mindfulness, exposure therapy, and more.

I have worked in a variety of settings as a social worker/therapist including outpatient mental health, crisis intervention, behavioral health assessment, medical social work, and skilled nursing facilities. In addition to working at Grit, I’m currently an elementary school counselor in the Summit School District.
