Reflect & Connect Cafés have expanded into
Community Support Groups.

Originally created in 2020 to support organizations in response to covid, our Reflect and Connect Cafe’s have now expanded into Community Support Groups of all kinds to support the community at large. Current groups include Grief and Loss, Walking Away from Substance Shame, Fit to Recover -fitness class, Surviving and Thriving Injuries in the Mountains, Mindful Man, Building Resiliency, New Mom’s, Mom’s of Tots, and more. Facilitated by local providers, these groups wrap our community in support and guidance through challenging times and provide a safe and supportive space to discuss whatever you may be going through.

How has it helped our Community?

Since May 2020, more than 1420 community members have attended Reflect and Connect Cafes and one or more of the 41 Support Groups. Community Support Groups are organized around natural peer groups and cohorts and provide a relaxed and supportive space to discuss whatever you may be going through. Led by licensed mental health professionals, our groups offer you the opportunity to connect and share how you are doing. Meeting times are unique to the group and facilitator.

Actively listening to others allows me the opportunity to get outside of my own head and understand we are not alone in our struggles

Led by licensed mental health professionals, our groups are mostly conducted as virtual events to ensure that community members can remain connected regardless of their circumstances and physical distancing decisions. Community Support Groups provide an opportunity to come together to connect as a community, share how you are doing, and gain tips and skills to thrive.

A BIG “thank you” to a community partner, The Summit Foundation, for ongoing support and for funding ground-breaking programs, like this one, during these challenging times.
