Scholarship Program Revised No-Show Policy

The Building Hope Scholarship Program will now only be paying for one no-show appointment instead of two. Please review with your clients the importance of showing up to their appointments and review your practice’s cancelation policies with them during your first appointment. If multiple appointments are missed, clients will no longer be eligible for free sessions covered by the scholarship program, and providers are able to bill clients directly for a second no-show.

Introducing: Dylan Stein, Care Team & Community Outreach Coordinator

Hello!

My name is Dylan Stein, and I am so excited to step into my role on the Care Team at Building Hope and be involved with the scholarship program! I grew up in Seattle, WA and spent a number of years living in Oregon before my love for skiing brought me out to Summit County in 2022. I am passionate about serving this beautiful community and ensuring that our residents receive the behavioral healthcare that they need and deserve. Although life in Summit County is not always easy, I can confidently say that there is an amazing system of support here that I am honored to be a part of. I look forward to getting to further connecting with our local behavioral health providers and collaborating on ways to make care even more accessible!

2024 May is Mental Health Month – Toolkit Available

The month of May is here. MHA is excited to announce the release of our highly anticipated 2024 May is Mental Health Month toolkit!

This year’s theme for Mental Health Month is “Where to Start: Mental Health in a Changing World.” It can be overwhelming to navigate the various challenges and changes happening around us. The pressures of work, relationships, and societal factors, like politics, climate change, and the economy, can significantly impact our mental well-being, sometimes even more than we realize.

MHA’s FREE toolkit provides fact sheets, worksheets, sample communications materials, sample social media, and more to help individuals:

  • Learn how modern life affects mental health with new resources to navigate our changing world.
  • Act by building a coping toolbox to better manage stress, difficult emotions, and challenging situations.
  • Advocate to improve mental health for themselves, their loved ones, and their community.

Since 1949, Mental Health America and our affiliates across the country have observed May as Mental Health Month by reaching out to millions of people through the media, local events, and screenings. We invite you to join us in this effort by downloading the toolkit.
