My career began as a psychiatric nurse on the inpatient unit at Denver Health. During my time there, I worked with children, adolescents, and adults who were in acute crisis and needed support with their emotional and behavioral needs. I also worked in home health, providing psychiatric care in patients’ homes to help create a smooth transition after hospitalization.

I provide integrative care, collaborating closely with each patient’s healthcare provider and therapist. I believe in a holistic treatment approach to support optimal health and overall wellness, and I practice evidence-based, patient-centered medicine. I also believe that medication can play an important role in mental health and wellbeing. My goals include improving quality of life, supporting meaningful personal change, and helping patients feel empowered in their care.

It is important to me to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with my patients so I can provide the best care possible. I respect and encourage every patient to be an active participant in their treatment, as I believe this leads to better outcomes. As a mom, I understand the importance of supporting not just the individual, but the family as a whole. I truly enjoy working in the outpatient setting because it allows me to build long-term relationships and see lasting improvements in wellness and mental health.
