I bring a warm, compassionate, and calm energy to each patient interaction. As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I strive to create a caring relationship where each person feels safe, accepted, and heard. Research increasingly supports an integrative approach to mental health care, which may include medication, therapy, nutritional support, genomic testing, and exploration of habits and history. I will collaborate with you to find a treatment plan that is clinically appropriate and sensitive to your needs and preferences. I welcome all patients and have particular interest in mood disorders, ADHD, and working with teens, LGBTQ+ individuals, and older adults. I recently completed additional training and certification in perinatal mental health and enjoy supporting pregnant and postpartum clients in their mental health needs.

I graduated with a master’s degree in nursing from Regis University in Denver and was inspired to choose mental health as my practice specialty. My graduate-level psychiatric clinical training gave me the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations in and out of the hospital setting, in a corrections facility, and at an outpatient addiction treatment center. Most recently, I worked at a small outpatient clinic supporting clients with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. As a registered nurse, I spent 16 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver caring for patients after surgery, during and after high-risk pregnancy, and supporting families experiencing fetal loss. I obtained certification in maternal-newborn and pain management nursing, born out of both passion and experience in these areas.

In my free time, I enjoy playing flute in the Lone Tree Symphony, attending film festivals, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. I am currently accepting new patients and offer visits both in person at the Lakewood office and via telehealth.
