As a former first responder, Andrea has many years of lived and work experience of the effects of trauma and PTSD. In addition, Andrea is a certified Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) officer which involves specialized training to negotiate with actively suicidal and / or mentally ill subjects. Andrea is also certified nationally in crisis de-escalation and critical incident stress debriefing. Andrea recently became nationally certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She has worked with people of all ages to overcome life’s obstacles, substance abuse, difficult emotions, loss, and grief.

Her practice includes a mindfulness-based approach and deep cultural sensitivity. Meeting your personal goals of gaining awareness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are done in a confidential and caring manner. Her focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Her goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
