As a former first responder, Andrea has many years of lived and work experience of the effects of trauma and PTSD. In addition, Andrea is a certified Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) officer which involves specialized training to negotiate with actively suicidal and / or mentally ill subjects. Andrea is also certified nationally in crisis de-escalation and critical incident stress debriefing. Andrea recently became nationally certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She has worked with people of all ages to overcome life’s obstacles, substance abuse, difficult emotions, loss, and grief.
Healing and changing is not only possible, but probable with the right supports in place. You will find a sensitive, compassionate, and client-centered approach to help you move toward the life you want. Offered here is a safe environment to address pain, conflict, disconnection, and discomfort.
