Macee earned her Master’s Degree in Child Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Mental Health from San Diego State University. During this time, she specifically focused on trauma-informed attachment work with young children and their families. Macee has experience working in non-profit, educational, residential, and private practice settings. She has consistently worked with adolescents, teens, and adults who have been impacted by trauma. She has extensive background and experience in trauma-processing and trauma-informed care, and approaches each client with curiosity, comfort, and compassion.

Macee has always been drawn to mind-body connection and has personal experience in what mind-body healing can look like. She has been an athlete her entire life, played collegiate soccer, and is motivated to reach young student-athletes in their journey to navigating the incorporation of mental health in sports.

She has naturally leaned into a more holistic approach and often incorporates an attachment, relational, and nervous-system perspective. Macee is grateful to bring her knowledge and experiences into another non-judgmental space and strives to continue to foster her professional growth in mind-body healing.
