Malina provides services to adolescents and adults. Her therapeutic approach leans heavily on the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and psychodynamic theory. Malina believes every person’s story deserves to be heard and will work to create a space where clients feel seen and safe, implementing a collaborative approach in building therapeutic relationships and empowering clients to pursue the changes they want to see in their lives. Working through a trauma-informed lens, Malina is intentional about establishing an empathic and client-centered space to support each person’s work. Her undergraduate education was completed at San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology. From the University of Denver, Malina earned her Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Trauma.
