I completed graduate school with Simmons school of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts where I focused my studies on family systems, trauma, and domestic violence. I also had specific training in trauma focused CBT, CBT, emotion focused therapy, narrative approaches, motivational interviewing and solution focused intervention. I have experience working with people with disabilities and in a clinical setting with Mental Health Center Denver where I worked with people who had suffered from homelessness and trauma.

The majority of my career has been focused on working with children and adolescents in school settings. I obtained a specialization in School Social Work which focused on mediation, working with students with disabilities and academic interventions for children. I am also very passionate about diverse cultures.

My family grew up abroad in Asia and Europe, which helped me develop a personal sensitivity and understanding of inter-cultural families and being a third culture child. I also understand how challenging the impacts of change and moving as a child can be. I love figuring out how to help people find happiness, set goals and explore their feelings and behaviors in a collaborative process.
