Mile High Behavioral Healthcare (MHBHC) in Summit County offers a comprehensive range of mental health, behavioral health, and risk reduction services to support individuals and families in our community. Our programs include individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, intensive case management, peer support services, High-Fidelity Wraparound Services, DUI education and treatment groups, and access to psychiatric care and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) through our medical providers.

We also provide robust risk reduction services, including syringe access, safer sex kits, take-home STI test kits, sterile substance use supplies (safer smoking, snorting, and injection kits), wound care kits, and overdose prevention resources such as naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and xylazine test strips. Our free community food pantry—stocked by Café Food Rescue—is open during office hours for anyone in need.

Our therapists offer trauma-informed care, recovery support, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and ongoing counseling to help you navigate life’s challenges. MHBHC is able to provide therapy to children 3 and older, as some therapists on staff are trained in play and other expressive therapies. Our therapists can work with any and all individuals across the lifespan with an array of different challenges. They create individualized plans for every client, and often engage in experiential-based interventions. Case Managers can help you identify strengths, manage time and goals, and connect with community resources such as childcare, food, transportation, housing supports, health insurance, and more. Our Peer Recovery Specialist provides non-judgmental, and lived experience support to help individuals set goals, build coping skills, navigate recovery, and stay connected to meaningful community resources.

Our team works collaboratively with one another and with programs across Summit County to reduce barriers, promote stability, and empower you to succeed.
