I have been in private practice as a psychotherapist for 36 years. I’ve worked in various settings down through these years; director of a small counseling center in Denver, director of an adolescent group home, and dean at a small college. In addition to my private practice I’m currently the therapist to staff and families dealing with homelessness at a Denver non profit, and clinical therapist for Advocates for Victims of Assault in Dillon. In this last year I have started teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy in small groups, or as I like to call this course, Doing Better Today.  I love using the Enneagram and Myers Briggs Type Indicator to assess personality and preference. At this time, I usually work with adults, couples and sometimes older adolescents.  I am also a Certified Spiritual Director, and enjoy exploring the interface of psychology and spirituality, which often comes up in the second half of life.  I’ve been married for 40 years, and have three grown amazing kids and three grandchildren. Although I still work in Denver, my home has been in Silverthorne since 2002.
