I’m Susan Toys and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 35 years. I have had the opportunity to practice in various capacities as a therapist in Louisiana and Colorado. Currently, my office is located at ARISE where I assist the staff working with survivors of domestic abuse. Having previously been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, the focus of my career has been working with couples. I also use a family therapy approach when seeing children/adolescents and work collaboratively with parents in a family setting. My long career has offered me countless opportunities to refine my skills for providing group and individual therapy. I have learned and practice up-to-date methods of treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse, personality disorders, and assist individuals who also benefit from medication management. I’m looking forward to working with you and offering you my many years of diverse experience.
