May is Mental Health month! Our happiness, physical health, and emotional well-being are all directly connected to our mental health. Supporting your mental health can come in many shapes or sizes. Whether it be taking 5 minutes a day to meditate, giving a hug to a friend who is sad, hiking a mountain, reading a book, reducing stigma surrounding mental health, becoming educated on mental health resources or just breathing… all these things can support your mental and thus physical and emotional well-being. Everything is connected and to support your mental health, really means to support all of YOU. Summit County is initiating a pledge to support your own mental health for the month of May.
