RAVI’S PROVIDER UPDATES

  1. Dear Summit County Mental Health Providers,

Building Hope is putting together an updated list of therapists who can provide counseling over telehealth/video conference in order to meet the challenges brought by COVID-19. If you are capable of providing teletherapy, please email me back with a confirmation and let me know what your platform is. If you are in the process of setting up your teletherapy platform, please let me know that as well.

We are working closely with Eagle Valley Behavioral Health (EVBH) in providing our communities with viable options for teletherapy, and will be creating a special page on our website to inform the community on who can provide teletherapy.

Dr. Stacie Freduenberg is doing a webinar for EVBH this week on how to set up a teletherapy practice. Date and time TBD, description below:

Practicing Therapy via Telehealth: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know

Dr. Stacie Freudenberg is the owner of Luminate Psychological Services and the staff Psychologist for Bright Future Foundation in Eagle County. In her private practice, Stacie provides distance therapy via video and phone for residents of Colorado’s mountain regions. Starting off providing face-to-face services, Stacie has now moved her practice to 100% online service delivery in an effort to expand confidential services for our rural mountain regions. Furthermore, Stacie temporarily transitioned Bright Future Foundation’s face-to-face therapy services to 100% phone and video sessions, in an effort to mitigate staff/client exposure risks during the Corona Virus outbreak. Join us for this free webinar where Stacie will share her knowledge about transitioning to telehealth and provide information on how to implement safe, effective therapy services online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics discussed include: CO requirements, documentation, releases/consent, teletherapy with insurance, taking payment, tips for best practice, contraindications, applicability of specific interventions (i.e. EMDR), and available HIPPA compliant platforms. There will also be time for Q&A at the end of this live webinar.

The Provider Mixer scheduled for March 25th has been postponed. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience!

Please follow us on Facebook and encourage your clients to do the same. We are live updating with several COVID-19 resources and tips. We have also established a closed facebook group for Community Connectedness Events – we will be kicking this off we are favorite – Sound Healing. Check it out at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/662564941160887/

Lastly, attached is a one-pager with messaging and resources for Summit County residents. Our website has also been updated with telehealth and online support groups options.

Please let me know if there is anything that Building Hope can do to support you in these uncertain times.

    Thanks,
    Ravi
