Support groups remind us that we’re not alone. They bring together people who understand what it’s like to face similar challenges and offer a safe, welcoming space to share, listen, and connect.

Domestic Violence
Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence –NDS offers virtual Support Groups for women and men, in English, and Spanish, during the day and in the evening. First-time attendees are asked to call 408-279-2962 to sign up for a support group.
Grief
Facing the Mourning, Summit County Coroner’s Office – An intimate and interactive 4 session support group local in Summit County designed to help with the grieving process by using visual and thought-provoking tools. For information on dates/times and to reserve your spot, please contact britt.lea@summitcountyco.gov
Heartlight Center – (virtual and in-person throughout Colorado) Provides meaningful and accessible grief support and education. Offers workshops, support groups, and education on stages of grief.
Grief Share Group – Offers a 13 week support group and education on the grief process. Local chapters throughout Summit County.

Mountain Vertigo Support Group – If you or someone you know has balance, dizziness, or vertigo issues that impact your
daily life, you are not alone. The NIH projects that over one fifth of the US population
has vertigo issues that affect them at some point in their life. It is the second most
common medical complaint in doctors' offices and the number one complaint for
individuals over 70. Living at higher altitude can compound these problems. A support
group beginning in February 2026 will be open to persons experiencing dizziness or vertigo
issues, as well as their significant others. The group will share information and tips
about coping with these issues, as well as receive information from experts. If you

Neurodivergence
Society for Neurodiversity (S4Nd) – S4Nd’s peer support groups are run by and for neurodiverse people. The groups offer members mutual support, guidance, and information sharing. All S4ND peer support groups are open to anyone who identifies as neurodiverse. Groups are held monthly on Sundays using Zoom and takes place from 2:30-4pm

Perinatal and Postpartum Support
Baby Cafe – Baby Café is a welcoming and cozy place where new and expecting parents can gather weekly to support one another on their breastfeeding journey while receiving guidance and tips from a breastfeeding specialist. All sessions are overseen by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who provides free advice for families. Baby Café offers parents and their newborns a spot to relax with refreshments; share experiences, tips and techniques; and socialize with other parents in a child-friendly space. Weight checks for babies are also available free of charge.
Parents Helping Parents – PHP’s support groups create safe spaces where group members share experiences about parenting, no matter where they are on the parenting journey. Groups are free, confidential, and open to anyone who identifies as a caregiver.
LGBTQIA2S+
Mountain Pride – Whether you identify within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, have a loved one or family member who identifies, or simply want to learn how to be more supportive, our peer support program is here for you. Participation is FREE, and all you have to do is register to participate.
Sexual Abuse
Wings Foundation – runs virtual therapist-facilitated, peer-centered support groups for adult survivors & loved ones. Contact support@wingsfound.org or 303-238-8660 for more information.
Substance Use Support
District 17 Colorado Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) – Offers 21 peer support meetings each week, including 4 in Spanish. Of these, 20 are open to anyone who has an interest in alcoholism or A.A.; only 1 meeting is closed to members or those with a desire to stop drinking. Individuals may visit district17coloradoaa.org/meetings for a list of local meetings. If an individual is unsure or hesitant to go to a meeting by themselves, contact cpc-pi@district17coloradoaa.org, and the Public Information Chairperson can connect the individual with a volunteer member of A.A., who will call and offer to meet the individual at an A.A. meeting to help introduce them to the Alcoholics Anonymous program, including the types of meetings, literature, and sponsorship.
Al-Anon – Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship that unites members of different backgrounds, races, and walks of life who come together to help themselves and others to lead purposeful, useful lives by overcoming the frustration and helplessness caused by close association with an alcoholic.
Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) – Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) is a free resource that supports the family members and friends of people struggling with addiction, also known as a substance use disorder. CRAFT brings together friends and family members once per week for 10-12 weeks and a trained CRAFT professional guides you through strategies you can use to have more positive interactions with the person in your life who is struggling with a substance use disorder. You’ll get to meet other friends and family members in similar situations to talk through what is and isn’t working as you navigate your relationship with your loved one who is struggling and get guided support from the CRAFT professionals.
Celebrate Recovery – Offers online support groups via Zoom; Celebrate Recovery programming is a biblically based approach to help individuals achieve long lasting recovery by healing their hurts, guiding them toward new healthy truths, and developing life-giving habits.
The Daily Pledge – The Daily Pledge is a free, online social community, made possible by the Hazelden Betty Ford Institute for Recovery Advocacy, that provides a source of support and fellowship to those touched by or concerned about the disease of addiction.
Women for Sobriety – Founded in 1975, Women for Sobriety (WFS) is the first peer-support program tailored specifically for women overcoming substance use disorders (SUDs). With both regional and online meetings, the New Life Program provides supportive, empowering, secular, and life-affirming principles that address the unique needs and challenges of women in recovery.
White Bison – Based in Colorado Springs and a proud facilitator of the Wellbriety Movement, White Bison provides sobriety, recovery, addictions prevention, and wellness/Wellbriety learning resources to the Native American/Alaskan Native community nationwide.
Helping Men Recover – Men’s Recovery Group led by Mile High Behavioral Healthcare. Held every Tuesday 5-6pm. Both virtual and in-person. Contact SRodriguez@mhbhc.org / (720) 517-6863 for more info.
Various Mental Health Groups - Online
Mental Health America – Connects individuals who have a passion for mental wellness, prevention, and interventions. Those living with mental health conditions, have loved ones, or community stakeholders have a space for support and inspiration. Contains various topics such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, etc.
The Tribe Wellness Community – Free online support community for various topics including OCD, Addiction, HIV/Aids, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+, marriage/family, and teen.
Online Support Groups – Gives people living with depression and bipolar disorder a safe place to share experiences and discuss coping skills. Groups specific to BIPOC communities.
